Calcium 1,000 mg
Magnesium 500 mg
Zinc 10 mg
Now Foods said it has received reports of nausea and elevated blood vitamin D levels

Based on the above graph from the above link,
it appears that people would have had to been taking the product for many months to get vitamin D toxicity
Perhaps it was the 1,000 milligrams of Calcium which caused the problems
