Vitamin D supplementation can cost 50 dollars a day (live longer)
Computation is based on:
Vitamin D extends lives
Cost of additional years in senior home/assisted living = $18,000 (conservative) = $50/day
Govt/insurance pays for results of poor health (if not take vitamin D)
Otherwise the end-of-life medical charges would be exceed the cost of senior home
Strange that healthy seniors have to pay for senior homes, but unhealthy seniors do not have to pay for their medical costs.
With vitamin D seniors:
Can live longer,
Living longer will reduce the size of inheritance if they are in senior home/assisted living
Might live longer than their savings ==> leave senior home and no inheritance
